Maria Cirino

Co-Founder and Managing Partner, .406 Ventures

Maria Cirino has been building and founding technology businesses for 20+ years. Prior to co-founding .406 Ventures, Cirino served as an SVP of VeriSign after it acquired Guardent, which Cirino co-founded and led as CEO. In this role, she received industry recognition as Massachusetts CEO of the Year, among others. Prior to Guardent, Cirino was SVP for sales and marketing at Razorfish, which acquired i-Cube, where Cirino led sales and marketing. Prior to i-Cube, she was responsible for North American sales at Shiva. Previously, she held sales and marketing roles. Cirino holds an AB in English literature from Mount Holyoke College where she has served as a Trustee and as a member of the college's investment committee. At .406 Ventures, Cirino manages brand building and deal flow strategy and serves on multiple boards.
