Lucy Thomson, CISSP, focuses her practice on cybersecurity, global data privacy, and compliance and risk management. She has addressed security problems with voting equipment during key U.S. elections. A career Justice Department white collar crime prosecutor, she subsequently worked as a senior engineer at CSC, a global technology company. Appointed Consumer Privacy Ombudsman in 24 federal bankruptcy cases, she has overseen the sale of 250 million consumer records. Past Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Science & Technology Law, she is a member of the Cybersecurity Legal Task Force and editor of the Data Breach and Encryption Handbook. She earned a Master’s degree from RPI and holds a JD degree from GeorgetownLucy’s Upcoming Sessions
