Larry Magid is a technology journalist and an Internet safety advocate. He serves as on-air technology analyst for CBS News, is CEO of and founder of and He also writes columns that appear in the San Jose Mercury News and on CNET News, and the Huffington Post.
He is on the board of directors of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and advisory boards of PBS Kids, Internet Congressional Caucus and Family Online Safety Institute. He has a doctor of education degree from the University of Massachusetts and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
