Joni Brennan

Technology Evangelist Identity and Privacy, IEEE-SA

Joni Brennan serves as the IEEE-SA Technology Evangelist for Internet Identity and Trust. She focuses on issues of governance, policy, and technology development that touch digital Identity, Personally Identifiable Information, and Trust Services. Bringing 15 years of direct industry experience, she builds diplomatic collaborative relationships within and across communities. She helps drive and formalize strategic partnerships between organizations. She participates in international organizations and industry standards committees, including OECD ITAC, ISOC, IEEE, Kantara Initiative, OASIS SSTC, ISO SC27 WG5, and ITU-T SG17 Q6. She has served as the NSTIC / IDESG Trust Framework WG Chair. She has also provided testimony on Trusted Identity and Access Management systems for the US ONC HITSP.
