Chief of the Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section, U.S. Department of JusticeJohn Lynch is the Chief of the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (CCIPS). He joined the Section in 1997 and had served in various roles there before being selected as Chief in 2012. He supervises the Section’s prosecutions, policy and legislative development, outreach and training, legal advice, and laboratory support for computer crime, intellectual property, electronic evidence and cybersecurity.
