Jessica Malekos Smith

Jessica Malekos Smith is a third-year Law Student at the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she is pursuing a concentration in cyberlaw and working as a Student Research Assistant for Professor Matthew Bishop at the UC Davis Computer Security Lab. In 2014 she was selected by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN) NextGen Program to present her research paper on social media and revolution at the ICANN 51 Conference. A graduate of Wellesley College and Madeleine K. Albright Institute for Global Affairs Fellow, Malekos Smith also worked for two years as an undergraduate student research assistant on cyber-international relations for Professor Nazli Choucri at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Department of Political Science.
