Head of the Israeli National Cyber Bureau, Israel National Cyber Bureau, Prime Minister’s OfficeDr. Eviatar Matania was appointed Head of Israel's National Cyber Bureau since its establishment in 2012, operating directly under the Prime Minister. In this capacity Matania has been leading Israel’s cyber-policy and its implementation, while continuously advising the Prime Minister and the government on cyber-related issues. In 2015, he was appointed to also establish and supervise the new National Cyber Security Authority. Matania has diverse R&D experience in the defense community as well as in the hi-tech and venture capital sector. Matania holds a B.Sc. in physics and mathematics, an M.Sc. in mathematics with an expertise in game theory, and a Ph.D. in judgment and decision making.
