Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Fortinet team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the company’s flagship FortiGate product line and other specialized security product lines. It will play a critical role in contributing to successful product launches and long term sales and revenue generation goals. The successful candidate will have opportunities to drive cross functional teams and develop strong relationships with the sales team to create compelling tools, platforms and messaging.

• Create and implement product marketing content, including white papers, brochures, data sheets, solutions guides.
• Articulate benefits, via marketing collateral and in-person meetings, to Fortinet enterprise customers, channel partners and MSSP customers.
• Develop tools to support sales on product roll out for emerging technologies
• Support R&D with market analysis for new initiatives and products
• Develop product positioning and competitive analysis to support Fortinet sales and channel partners
• Develop reseller partner focused plans to enable growth in channel markets by working closely with Channel sales and marketing teams
• Coordinate launch initiatives with PR/AR/IR and act as spokesperson for product
• Lead cross-department product teams to launch products
• Support related activities owned by other groups (case studies, references, trade shows, events, technical white papers, SE training, etc.)
• Collaborate with alliance partners and services to offer complete solutions
• Interface and partner effectively with the product management team
Required Skills:
• 5+ years technology experience
• 2+ years product marketing
• Strong technology background network security, i.e. Next Generation Firewall, SSL Inspection, VPN, IPS, antivirus, web content filtering
• Preferred experience in especially in Campus, Enterprise branch such as SD-WAN, Industrial OT deployments
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Education: Bachelors Degree
