We are looking for Solution Consultants who have a strong background in selling SaaS solutions and understand all phases of the sales cycle and can partner on a deal as a co-CEO with an account executive. You are comfortable engaging early in a deal to help set sales strategy, understand how to lead discovery, craft a solution to solve a customer’s business need, and get deep in validating how New Relic’s solutions address that need in real time. Additionally, you should be able to understand a customer’s IT infrastructure and software architecture.


5+ years within technical sales (preferred), pre sales or software architect with experience leading projects and/or working with customers
Knowledge in the monitoring space (APM, Digital Experience, Tracing, AIOps, Infrastructure, Logging)
Technical Skills (some of these):
APM languages: Java, .NET, NodeJS, Python, Ruby, PHP or Golang.
End-user technologies: iOS, Android, JavaScript, HTML5, video players
Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Foundry, Docker / Kubernetes
Experience selling and working with pure SaaS solutions in multi-tenant architectures is preferred
Preferred cloud platform experience, such as AWS, Azure and Cloud Foundry
Key areas of expertise include: software development, devops, IT security in the federal space, Saas, networking, advanced diagnostics, citizens experience, platform knowledge, data analytics. Federal clearance a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering focused New Relic solution consulting expertise to help our customers understand the value of New Relic Solutions
Develop customer-specific value propositions highlighting benefits and differentiators of New Relic products
Create and deliver customer presentations that articulate New Relic’s Solutions and their value associated to customer’s requirements
Build and deliver compelling customer proof-of-concept demonstrations to contribute to sales success
Assist and support the functional and technical responses to activities and tasks with help of the broader Customer Solutions team
Collaborate on Customer opportunities with New Relic Sales, Customer Solutions and Product Management communities

Travel is approximately 50%.
