Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its Information Security team and looking for a subject matter expert with penetration testing, red teaming and threat hunting skills. Our IT and product teams are pursuing all innovative technologies from being an all cloud company, working on next generation IoT devices and connected medical devices. This role will be responsible for leading and executing ethical hack engagements both as a penetration tester and a red teamer for our applications, medical device products, networks and infrastructure around the globe. Further, this role will also assume responsibilities of a threat hunter using state of the art threat hunting tools and expanding their capabilities to Edwards IT context, to make them effective. This role requires good scripting skills and the creative eye of a breaker mindset. The role will also manage third party penetration testing helping in their scoping, quality execution and remediation.

Responsibilities:
• Understand key business processes at Edwards and their characteristics with a view to ensure service availability when performing security testing
• Conduct penetration test and red teaming activities for network, application, infrastructure and connected IoT and medical products
• Stay up to date on threat landscape and new tactics, techniques and procedures in the hacking space and incorporate them into Edwards penetration testing program
• Lead and manage third party pen test defining clear guidelines on scope, risk measurement, re-testing and remediation activities
• Implement cyber processes and tools with strong focus on Automation and Cloud first approach
• Present at security conferences representing Edwards both in enterprise IT and medical device security concepts

Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years of IT Security experience, including 3 years of experience performing security penetration testing for a medium to large size organization, is required.
• Experience with Open Source and COTS for penetration testing: Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Burp Suite Pro and similar
• Thorough knowledge of cloud based architectures such as AWS and Azure
• Solid understanding of web based technologies including browser and desktop software
• Experience with at least one common scripting languages such as bash, python, ruby etc.
• Reverse engineering skills to completely tear apart a software and understand the security around it on regular OS and embedded devices is highly preferred.
• SME in at least 3 of the following domains – platform security, network security, application security, data security, cloud security, embedded device security
• Ability to translate complex technical security topics in a business friendly manner
• Ability to collaborate in a very fast paced environment collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive audience
