Mayana Pereira

Mayana Pereira is a data scientist with Microsoft, where she currently applies machine learning to problems at the intersection of natural language processing, security and software engineering. She has applied machine learning techniques to a wide range of practical problems in network and software security, healthcare and social networks. Pereira's works have resulted in deployed products, awards, peer-reviewed publications and presentations in prestigious venues, including RSA Conference, NIPS, ACM and IEEE conferences and Grace Hopper Celebration. Pereira holds an MS degree in cryptography.
