John Carlin

John P. Carlin chairs the Global Risk + Crisis Management practice at Morrison & Foerster, where he counsels clients on cybersecurity and other national security matters, white collar investigations, and government enforcement actions. He previously served as the Assistant Attorney General for National Security, the Department of Justice’s top national security attorney. Prior to that, Carlin served as Chief of Staff and Senior Counsel to FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III and as National Coordinator of DOJ’s Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property (CHIP) program.
