Dr. Kate Darling

A leading expert in robot ethics, Kate Darling is a Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab where she investigates social robotics and conducts experimental studies on human-robot interaction. She is a Fellow at the Harvard Berkman Center for Internet & Society and the Yale Information Society Project, and is an Affiliate at the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies. Darling’s work has been featured in international media, and she has authored multiple academic publications and contributed to industry publications. She speaks and holds workshops covering developments in the world of robotics. Darling graduated from law school with honors and holds a doctorate of sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich).
