Nelson Abbott

Originally from California, Nelson relocated to pursue a career in the music industry. After becoming disillusioned with the entertainment business, he transitioned to working with underrepresented students pursuing biomedical research careers at Brooklyn College. Serving for 9 years as a professional development specialist, he landed at NPower as a Recruitment and Admissions Manager. His passion for equal access to educational and economic opportunities as a tool for social justice reform drives the work he does with NPower in their mission to empower underserved young adults and veterans to succeed in the technology workforce .
