Chris Inglis was the National Cyber Director and advisor to President Joe Biden on cybersecurity, guiding the administration’s national cyber policy efforts. He helped spearhead the creation of the Biden administration’s National Cybersecurity Strategy, a framework for future US efforts in cyberspace. He served as commissioner on the Cyberspace Solarium Commission, helping drive a consensus on the US’s strategic approach in cyberspace. Inglis retired from the DoD after 41 years of federal service, closing out his career as the deputy director of the NSA. he has served on numerous public boards, is a visiting professor at the Air Force and Naval Academies, and served in the US Air Force and Air National Guard for 30 years, retiring as a command pilot at the rank of Brigadier General.
