New and Returning for 2018

In order to keep up with the dynamic infosec industry, RSA Conference is always looking for ways to deliver what you need to stay at the forefront of the latest trends and technologies. Check out some of the new events and activities we’re planning for this year, along with some returning favorites from last year.

Broadcast Alley
Hear that? It’s buzz. And it’s coming from Broadcast Alley. Located next to RSAC TV in the lobby of Moscone West, Broadcast Alley is the unofficial newsroom of RSAC 2018. Stop by to see top security publications in action as they shoot live at the Conference and record exclusive interviews with cybersecurity VIPs. Or, reserve a spot in our recording booth for interviews or live news reports. Stop by Broadcast Alley to reserve your time – first come, first served.

Registration Location
This year, the ONLY location for registration will be Moscone West. All pass types can be picked up here.

RSAC Bash Location
This year's RSAC Bash is out of this world—think futuristic amusement park meets infosec extravaganza. Complete with musical entertainment, a remote-control race car track, and a legendary venue—the iconic San Francisco Armory. There’s no better way to blow off some steam after four days of infosec immersion. Come to network. Come to dance. Or just unwind. Regardless, this is one party you won’t want to leave early! The RSAC Bash takes place Thursday, April 19 from 6:00  10:00 PM.

RSAC Perks Pack
The RSAC Perks Pack is a booklet that Full Conference Pass holders will receive on-site which contains exclusive sponsor offers. You’ll find chances to participate in any of RSAC’s sponsor giveaways, drawings and more. Please check the agenda for specific times and room locations.

Street Eats
At RSA Conference, we always encounter our fair share of VHIPs—you know, Very Hungry Infosec Professionals. Fortunately, at this year’s Conference, we went all out in the food department. With options for all tastes, Street Eats is the easy way to fuel up between sessions or get energized before your next keynote. Stop by any of our five food trucks on Mission Street or our seven food trucks on Howard. Open Tuesday-Thursday, 11 AM  2 PM. Available to all registrants.

Our new mobile app will offer exciting features including 3D maps, enhanced search, enhanced notifications and the ability to build a list of favorite sessions.

Located in Yerba Buena 9 at the Marriot Marquis, it is an innovation space dedicated to promoting up-and-comers in the industry. With emerging talent at every booth, participating startups have the opportunity to tell their stories and showcase their products to over 43,000 of cybersecurity’s most influential decision makers and investors.

RSAC Women's Leadership Reception
Please join us on April 17th from 5 – 7:30 PM for a relaxed and casual networking event at the Press Club—one of San Francisco's most notable destinations, offering the ultimate wine experience in a sophisticated and social atmosphere. We'll celebrate the talent, contributions and continued development of women throughout the cybersecurity community. All RSA Conference attendees and cybersecurity professionals who support women in the industry are welcome to attend.

Conference Closing: The Hugh Thompson Show
Internet security guru and RSA Conference Program Committee Chair Dr. Hugh Thompson has seen it all. For the 11th year, Thompson brings a lifetime of security expertise and enthusiasm to “The Hugh Thompson Show” at this year’s RSA Conference. Become part of the action as Thompson takes center stage in one of the most popular sessions of the Conference, interviewing some very special guests.

Birds of a Feather
Come join us for the Birds of a Feather sessions mornings (7 – 7:45 AM) and afternoons (12:30 – 1:15 PM) on Wednesday and Thursday! Grab your breakfast or lunch and bring it to the discussion rooms. Some topics are pre-defined and led by speakers, others will develop organically; by design, this is loosely structured to give you an opportunity to network and set the agenda for discussions of interest to you. Only open to Full Conference Pass holders.

Are you a student who’s ready to explore an inspiring career in a dynamic industry that’s experiencing explosive growth?
