In 2010, Mr. Durand founded the Cloud Identity Summit, today's leading identity conference. Prior to Ping, Mr. Durand founded Jabber Inc., commercializing Jabber's open source messaging platform which sold to Cisco in 2008. In 1993, he founded Durand Communications, pioneering the online photograph database and Windows NT client/server bulletin board. Mr. Durand started at KPMG in 1991 and holds a BA in Biology and Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
