Director, Network Security Deployment, Department of Homeland SecurityBrendan Goode is the Director of Network Security Deployment (NSD) for the Office of Cybersecurity & Communications at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Goode currently leads the engineering and delivery of cybersecurity technologies and services to counter national cyber threats. He directs the design, development and deployment efforts for the National Cybersecurity Protection System, which enables DHS to defend the Federal Executive Civilian Branch computer networks. He previously served as the Deputy Director and the Systems Engineering and Integration Section Chief of NSD. He holds a B.A. in Electrical Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
