A honeytrap is one of the oldest tricks in the cybercrime book, and the world of grey-market indices of pirated software is rife with honeytrap download links. We found a surprising variety and volume of attacks coming from searches for electronic books. While the books didn't contain any malicious content, scripted attacks on pirate Web pages targeted visitors trying to download them.
