There is an uneasy tension between security needs and privacy concerns—and it came to a head in the heated Congressional debate about how best to share information about cyber threats. Security hawks say the more sharing, the better. Privacy advocates say we need some limits, for example, “Which government agencies get private data and for what purpose?” Panelists will search for the balance.
