Cryptographic algorithms today are designed to withstand a great deal of cryptanalytic efforts. Side channel attacks, discussed here, are methods to attack insecure implementations of secure algorithms. This session focuses on attacks on implementation of RSA algorithms.

  • Topic 1: Horizontal and Vertical Side-Channel Attacks against Secure RSA Implementations
  • Topic 2: Timing Attack against protected RSA-CRT implementation used in PolarSSL
