When it comes to engaging in all aspects of cybersecurity, networking with other professionals is one area that can take your career to the next level in more ways than one. Meeting and chatting with like-minded individuals in various settings is a great way to expand your knowledge, advance your career, promote your company and more.

To help facilitate these connections, we’ve built networking opportunities into a number of Conference events and programs.

Networking Events
Be sure to stock up on your business cards, because you’ll have plenty of chances to exchange them with hundreds of other Conference attendees at these events:

  • Welcome Reception: Kick off RSAC 2019 APJ with drinks and hors d'oeuvres as you mingle with peers and discover the latest products and solutions from leading cybersecurity vendors in the Exhibition.
  • RSAC Women’s Networking Reception: Help celebrate the growing contribution of women in cybersecurity at this casual networking event that’s open to all who support this important cause.
  • Tea Breaks*Raise your cup to the dual opportunity of refueling between sessions and conversing with other Conference attendees.

Networking Opportunities Within Content Programs
With smaller group sizes and more intimate settings, these informative and interactive programs provide the perfect opportunity to connect with others who share your same interests:

  • Ask the Expert Roundtables*At the conclusion of Ask the Expert sessions—unique to RSAC—the speaker and attendees will take a deeper dive into the originally presented topic, as well as other areas of exploration that may evolve from this conversation. You do not have to attend the session in order to participate in the roundtable discussion.
  • Birds of a Feather*: Gather with like minds as session speakers lead small-group discussions about pre-defined topics. These loosely structured sessions will give you an opportunity to network and set the agenda for discussions of interest to you. Group sizes will vary -- these are meant to be organic and informal, but whether there are three or thirteen you're sure to have a productive conversation and expand your network!
  • Learning Labs*Skill-building exercises and group discussions abound in these immersive, facilitated experiences. Attendance size is limited so that all participants have the opportunity to fully engage with the facilitator and each other. Another program you’ll only find at RSAC!

  • RSAC Launch PadWhat could be a better conversation starter than witnessing the debut of the next big thing? Don’t miss the chance to watch three participants enthusiastically vie for the opportunity to showcase their up-and-coming product at RSAC 2020 USA.
  • SANS NetWars: Get ready to put your skills to the test in this hands-on challenge with peers. Compete within teams of up to five players as you navigate through five progressive levels of gameplay covering penetration testing, forensics and more.

*Available to Full Conference Pass holders
