Terms and Conditions

RSA® Conference 2017 (“RSA Conference”) will take place at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore (the “Venue”) on 26 - 28 July 2017. This registration agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between EMC Information Systems Management Ltd. (Singapore Branch) (“RSA Conference Organiser”) and registrant. This Agreement includes and incorporates by reference the Privacy Policy/Terms of Use posted in the footer below. All written notice and requests, including requests for a copy of the posted Registration Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy/Terms of Use, shall be sent to RSA Conference Organiser at or RSA Conference, 2831 Mission College Blvd., Santa Clara, CA 95054.


If circumstances or policies in your organization change and you can no longer attend RSA Conference, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to RSA Conference Organiser at the contact information stated above. The RSA Conference refund policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation before 16 April 2017: Full refund of registration fee less a S$125 administration fee
  • Cancellation between 16 April 2017 through 24 June 2017: 50% refund of registration fee
  • Cancellation after 24 June 2017: no refunds.

In the event that you cancel this Agreement, RSA Conference Organiser shall refund to you the remaining fees, if any, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the cancellation notice.

Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Individuals are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations.

You can make a substitution at any time for a S$100 fee. Please see the Substitution Policy below for details. If you do not attend the RSA Conference and did not cancel your registration but have paid your registration fee, youwill not be refunded. 


Substitutions, including those made on-site, are allowed with the written permission of the original registrant. Requests for substitutions will only be accepted by email to The substituted individual must be from the same organization as the cancelled registrant. A maximum of one (1) substitution per original registrant is allowed. Please note there will be a S$100 processing fee for any substitution.


It is your sole responsibility to take care of visa requirements. If you require an entry visa, you must allow sufficient time for the visa application procedure. Your registration details might be shared with the immigration authorities to assist in the immigration process. However, RSA Conference will not contact embassies and consulates on your behalf.

To receive an invitation letter for RSA Conference, you must first register and pay the registration fees in full. You will have the option to request an invitation letter during the registration process.

If you are not granted a visa, the registration fees will be reimbursed (less S$125 administrative fee) if, and only if, you provide with an official document from local immigration authorities, showing the visa rejection and that the application was made at least one month (25 June 2017) before RSA Conference.


All attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend RSA Conference, and all related events, including all evening events. Requests for any exception to this term must be submitted to RSA Conference Organiser in writing. Whether or not the exception is granted, is in the sole discretion of RSA Conference Organiser.

The Goods & Services Tax (GST) will be charged at the current Singapore rate of 7%.

If you paying by check, please note that the check must be postmarked by the corresponding deadline date in order to receive that pricing. A purchase order is not an accepted form of payment. If you arrive on-site with a balance due, you will be required to pay the full on-site price for the package selected.


Only ONE (1) discount may be applied to an individual registration. Under no circumstances can any of the discounts be combined. Your fees must be paid in full before the respective Early Bird, Discount or Standard deadlines in order to receive the pricing for those discounts.

Retroactive application of discount codes is not allowed. Requests for any exception must be made in writing to RSA Conference Organiser. 


If you purchase three (3) or more RSAC Full Conference registration passes at the same time, you will automatically receive a S$75 discount per attendee registration. To receive the Group discount you will be required to purchase a minimum of three (3) RSAC Full Conference passes using one (1) credit card in a single transaction. At the time of purchase, you will be sent, via email, a unique Registration Code to your company that you can distribute to the individuals in your group. Each individual will be required to enter this group Registration Code as they begin their registration process.


If you purchase ten (10) or more RSAC Full Conference registration passes at the same time, you will automatically receive a S$150 discount per attendee registration. To receive the Group discount you will be required to purchase a minimum of ten (10) RSAC Full Conference passes using one (1) credit card in a single transaction. At the time of purchase, you will be sent, via email, a unique Registration Code to your company that you can distribute to the individuals in your group. Each individual will be required to enter this group Registration Code as they begin their registration process.


If registering for the student/faculty rate, proof of yourstudent/faculty standing must be submitted to for verification upon completing the registration. Students must also be at least 18 years old at the time of attendance. Student or full-time faculty (defined as instructors/teachers/professors of an accredited university or college) must provide a valid, university or college photo ID or official letter from registrant’s institution verifying faculty status. Failure to produce proof of student/faculty status will result in a charge of the full on-site RSA Conference registration fee of S$950.


A government or company issued photo id is required to collect RSA Conference credentials/badges.


RSA Conference-issued credentials are the sole property of the RSA Conference Organiser and must be surrendered upon demand to RSA Conference and/or RSA Conference Organiser representatives. RSA Conference-issued credentials must be prominently displayed while at the RSA Conference or designated off-site activities. False certification of an individual as an exhibitor’s representative, misuse of an exhibitor’s badge, or any other method or device used to assist unauthorized personnel to gain admittance to the exhibit floor, will be just cause for expelling the exhibitor and his representative(s) from the exhibit floor and/or banning them from future entrance into the Expo. This would also warrant the removal of the exhibitor’s booth from the floor without obligation on the part of RSA Conference Organiser for refund of any fees. The exhibitor, his/her employees and agents, and anyone claiming to be in the hall through the exhibitor, waives any rights or claims for damages arising out of the enforcement of this rule.


You may be asked to scan your badge either at exhibit booths and/or session rooms.  Please note scanning of your badge is optional. When your attendee badge is scanned by exhibitors and/or sponsors during RSA Conference, you are opting-in to receiving communications from that entity. You will be subject to the communications and privacy policies of the exhibitors and/or sponsors and must opt-out with them directly.


RSA Conference is held in a public space, therefore RSA Conference Organiser does not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations or other companies from photographing or video or audiotaping some RSA Conference activities. RSA Conference reserves the right to use images taken at the RSA Conference with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials.


Suitcasing or outboarding is prohibited at RSA Conference. RSA Conference Organiser reserves the right to escort any individual from RSA Conference who is reported to be soliciting in the Exposition and who is not a RSA Conference sponsor or exhibitor. RSA Conference Organiser encourages attendees to support the paid sponsors and exhibitors who, in turn, are supporting the industry. RSA Conference Organiser also encourages you not to listen to a sales pitch from a non-sponsor or exhibitor.


The use of Drones/Unmanned Aircrafts (“UAV”) is strictly prohibited at all times throughout the entire Venue and the adjacent areas outside of the Venue. UAV’s are devices that are used or intended to be used for flight in the air with no onboard pilot (either controlled manually or through an autopilot using a data link to connect the pilot to the UAV).


In its sole discretion and without refund, RSA Conference Organiser reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the RSA Conference anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the RSA Conference or any other attendee.

The views expressed by any RSA Conference attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of RSA Conference, RSA Conference Organiser or EMC Corporation. All RSA Conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.

Force Majeure

RSA Conference Organiser shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the Venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of RSA Conference Organiser or its subcontractors. For one or more of such reasons, RSA Conference Organiser may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of RSA Conference Organiser. In the event RSA Conference cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, RSA Conference Organiser shall not be liable to attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses. RSA Conference Organiser will review refund and/or fee transfer requests, submitted in writing, for approval on a situational basis.
