Terms and Conditions
If circumstances or policies in your organisation change and you can no longer attend RSA Conference, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to RSA Conference Organiser at the contact information stated above. The RSA Conference 2016 refund policy is as follows:
- Cancellations before 10 April 2016: Full refund of registration fee less a SGD 125 administration fee
- Cancellation between 10 April 2016 through 18 June 2016: 50% refund of registration fee
- Cancellation after 18 June 2016: no refunds
In the event that you cancel this Agreement, RSA Conference Organiser shall refund to you the remaining fees, if any, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the cancellation notice.
Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Individuals are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations.
You can make a substitution at any time for a SGD 150 fee. Please see the Substitution Policy below for details. If you do not attend the RSA Conference and did not cancel your registration but have paid your registration fee, you will not be refunded.
Substitutions, including those made on-site, are allowed with the written permission of the original registrant. Requests for substitutions will only be accepted by email to email@example.com. The substituted delegate must be from the same organization as the cancelled delegate. There can only be up to one (1) substitution per delegate.
Please note that an administrative fee of SGD 150 applies if the request for substitution is received after Saturday, 18 June 2016. Please note, only cash and credit card payments will be accepted on-site.
VISA REQUIREMENTS / INVITATION LETTER
It is the sole responsibility of the delegate to take care of visa requirements. Delegates who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the visa application procedure. Delegate registration details might be shared with the immigration authorities to assist in the immigration process. However, RSA Conference will not contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants.
To receive an invitation letter for the RSA Conference 2016 Asia Pacific & Japan, delegates must first register and pay the registration fees in full. Delegates will have the option to request an invitation letter during the registration process.
If the delegate is not granted his/her visa, the registration fees will be reimbursed (less SGD 150 administrative fee) if, and only if, he/she provides firstname.lastname@example.org with an official document from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore, showing the visa rejection and that the application was made at least one month (Sunday 19 June 2016) before RSA Conference 2016 Asia Pacific & Japan.
Attendees must be 18 years of age to attend RSA® Conference, and all related events including the Welcome Reception. Requests for any exception to this term must be made in writing to RSA Conference Organiser.
GST will be charged at the current Singapore rate of 7%.
Please note: payment by bank transfer is possible through Sunday 19 June 2016. Payment should preferably be processed online by credit card (American Express, MasterCard or Visa) during the registration process.
Please note: payment by cheque is possible only until Wednesday 15 June 2016.
If you are paying by cheque, please note that the cheque must be postmarked by the corresponding deadline date in order to receive that pricing. A purchase order is not an accepted form of payment. If you arrive on-site with a balance due, you will be required to pay the full on-site price for the registration pass selected. ONLY cash and credit card payments will be accepted on-site.
Only ONE (1) discount may be applied to an individual registration. Under no circumstances can any of the discounts be combined. Your registration must be paid in full before the Early Bird and Discount deadline in order to receive the pricing for those discounts.
Retroactive application of discount codes is not allowed. Requests for any exception must be made in writing to RSA Conference Organiser.

RSA Conference-issued credentials are the sole property of the RSA Conference Organiser and must be surrendered upon demand to RSA Conference and/or RSA Conference Organiser representatives. RSA Conference-issued credentials must be prominently displayed while at the RSA Conference or designated off-site activities. False certification of an individual as an exhibitor’s representative, misuse of an exhibitor’s badge, or any other method or device used to assist unauthorized personnel to gain admittance to the exhibition floor, will be just cause for expelling the exhibitor and his representative(s) from the exhibition floor and/or banning them from future entrance into the Exhibition. This would also warrant the removal of the exhibitor’s booth from the floor without obligation on the part of RSA Conference Organiser for refund of any fees. The exhibitor, his/her employees and agents, and anyone claiming to be in the hall through the exhibitor, waives any rights or claims for damages arising out of the enforcement of this rule.
PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDING
RSA® Conference is held in a public space, therefore RSA Conference Organiser does not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organisations or other companies from photographing or video or audiotaping some RSA Conference activities. RSA Conference reserves the right to use images taken at the RSA Conference with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials.
SOLICITING IN THE EXHIBITION
Suitcasing or outboarding is prohibited at RSA Conference. RSA Conference Organiser reserves the right to escort any individual from RSA Conference if they are reported to be soliciting in the Exhibition and who is not an RSA Conference sponsor or exhibitor. RSA Conference Organiser encourages attendees to support the paid sponsors and exhibitors who, in turn, are supporting the industry. RSA Conference Organiser also encourages you not to listen to a sales pitch from a non-sponsor/exhibitor.
The use of Drones/Unmanned Aircrafts (“UAV”) is strictly prohibited at all times throughout the entire Venue and the adjacent areas outside of the Venue. UAV’s are devices that are used or intended to be used for flight in the air with no onboard pilot (either controlled manually or through an autopilot using a data link to connect the pilot to the UAV).
In its sole discretion and without refund, RSA Conference Organiser reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the RSA Conference anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the RSA Conference or any other attendee.
The views expressed by any RSA Conference attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of RSA Conference, RSA Conference Organiser or EMC Corporation. All RSA Conference attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.
RSA Conference Organiser shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the Venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of RSA Conference Organiser or its subcontractors. For one or more of such reasons, RSA Conference Organiser may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of RSA Conference Organiser. In the event RSA Conference cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, RSA Conference Organiser shall not be liable to attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses. RSA Conference Organiser will review refund and/or fee transfer requests, submitted in writing, for approval on a situational basis.
