Scheduling FAQ

How do I save the session/events information that I plan on attending?

There are 2 ways of approaching this.

1- Add to Calendar (see description below) - only available in the mobile app

2- Add to My Schedule (see description below) - available in the mobile app and on the website

What is Add to Calendar?

Add to Calendar allows anyone to add a placeholder for a session/event on their personal calendar of choice i.e. Outlook, Gmail. This is only available in the mobile app.

What is My Schedule?

The My Schedule functionality allows registered conference attendees to build a single schedule that is accessible through the RSA Conference website and mobile app.  My Schedule is a list of sessions/events that you have chosen to attend in order of day and time.  

Please note: Adding a session/event to your Schedule does not guarantee you a seat. Admission to sessions/events are on a first come, first served basis.

Who can use My Schedule?

Individuals that have registered for RSA Conference 2016 APJ can use the My Schedule functionality.

How do I add a session/event to My Schedule?

All sessions/events selected during registration including the SANS Tutorials will automatically be added to My Schedule.

On the RSA Conference website, additional sessions/events can be added from the Session & Events page as well as the session detail pages by simply clicking on the Add to My Schedule button.

On the RSA Conference mobile app, this can be done from the session detail pages by clicking the + sign and selecting Add to My Schedule.

Please note: Adding a session/event to your Schedule does not guarantee you a seat. Admission to sessions/events are on a first come, first served basis.

Why am I not allowed to add some sessions/events to My Schedule?

Some sessions/events can only be added to a schedule via the registration process.  These session/event types include the SANS Tutorials.

Other conflicts could occur if you attempt to include a session/event that is not part of your registration pass type.

The scheduling functionality will block you from scheduling more than one session/event at a specific time.

If a session occurs more than once during the week, you will only be able to add one occurrence of that session to your schedule. Attempting to add a second occurrence of the same session will result in an error message.

How do I remove a session/event from My Schedule?

If a registered attendee is logged in with their credentials, any session that has been added using Add to My Schedule can be removed. On the RSA Conference website, this can be done by clicking on the Remove from My Schedule button. On the RSA Conference mobile app, this can be done by clicking the + sign and selecting Remove from My Schedule.

Why am I not allowed to remove some sessions/events from My Schedule?

Some sessions/events can only be added to a schedule via the registration process and therefore cannot be removed from My Schedule.  These session/event types include the SANS Tutorials.

What credentials do I use to log in to My Schedule?

The username and password that you used when registering for RSA Conference 2016 APJ are the same credentials used to log into My Schedule.
