In 2003 the first phishing attacks globally were against the four major banks in Australia. Those early attacks evolved from simplistic phishing to highly targeted malware and continue to this day. In this presentation we will follow that evolution, understand how bank incident response teams responded, learn about the perpetrators and see the current state of play.
