Over the past few years, there has been a dilution of the definition of advanced persistent threats, or 'APT.' Rather than quibble with semantics, Alex Lanstein will dissect a dozen nation state driven APT attacks against governments and militaries worldwide witnessed in 2012, identify common intent and methodoly, and provide evidence of participation from political dissidents and corporations.
