Vice President of Special Projects
Najwa Aaraj is Vice President of Special Projects at DarkMatter, where she is responsible for evaluating and customizing secure product architecture; for evaluating, designing and setting up special projects related to authentication and cryptology systems; and for overseeing the development and operation of DarkMatter’s test and validation labs. She earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Princeton University and has more than 10 years of experience working in the United States, Australia, the Middle East, Africa and Asia with global firms such as Booz & Co, NEC Labs, IBM Security Research Labs and Intel. Aaraj has particular expertise in cryptography, trusted platforms, security architecture for embedded systems, software exploit detection and prevention systems, and biometrics.

As the Chief Technical Officer for Qualys, Wolfgang Kandek is responsible for the innovation aspects of the Qualys Cloud Security platform. Kandek has over 25 years of experience in developing and managing information systems. His focus has been on Unix-based server architectures and application delivery through the Internet. Prior to joining Qualys, he was Director of Network Operations at the online music streaming company myplay.com and at iSyndicate, an Internet media syndication company. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of technical positions at EDS, MCI and IBM. He earned master's and bachelor's degrees in computer science from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.

As President, Amit Yoran is responsible for developing RSA's strategic vision and operational execution. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Products, where he provided leadership for RSA's product development and product management organizations. Yoran founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of NetWitness, the market-leading network forensic product provider, which was acquired by RSA in 2011. In 2003 and 2004, he served as Founding Director of the US-CERT program. Prior to that role, Yoran was Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Riptech, which was acquired by Symantec in 2002, and where he subsequently served as Vice President of Worldwide Managed Security Services. Yoran is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point and George Washington University.
