RSA® Conference 2020 Asia Pacific & Japan (“RSA Conference”) is a virtual learning experience that will take place 15 to 17 July. This registration agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between EMC Information Systems Management Ltd. (Singapore Branch) (“RSA Conference Organizer”) and registrant.  This Agreement includes and incorporates by reference the Privacy Policy/Terms of Use posted in the footer below.  All written notice and requests, including requests for a copy of the posted Registration Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy/Terms of Use, shall be sent to RSA Conference Organizer at information@rsaconference.com.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Substitutions are not recommended. If a substituted individual attends with an original registrant’s credentials, the original registrant may be held responsible for code of conduct violations made by the substituted individual.

AGE LIMITATION
All attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend RSA Conference, and all related events.

PAYMENT
RSAC 2020 APJ is $0 event, thus no monetary payment will be collected. Registration will require you to provide your business contact information.

CREDENTIALS
If you attend the DevOps Connect: DevSecOps, RSA Conference will share your contact data with that association partner. You will then be subject to the communications and privacy policies of that entity and must opt-out with them directly.

AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDING
Video and audio recording of our content is strictly prohibited unless you have obtained express written consent from RSA Conference.

Recording Disclaimer: By participating in this virtual event, you hereby irrevocably grant RSA Conference its affiliates, agents, and licensees, the right, but not the obligation, to record your avatar, likeness, voice, and/or username and to own, license, assign, and use the same (or any portion) in the production, exhibition, and promotion of the event, RSAC products and services without compensation, in any media and on any platform now known or hereafter devised (including the Internet) throughout the universe in perpetuity.  You waive the right to bring action of any kind in law or equity against RSAC. 

UNAUTHORIZED INTERCEPTION OF DIGITAL DATA
Any unauthorized effort to intercept digital data is strictly prohibited.

Examples of this are:

  • Collecting electronically transmitted data without consent of the owner of that data.
  • Collecting electronically transmitted data with consent of the data owner, but under fictitious pretenses.

This includes but is not limited to the following technologies used when collecting data under deceptive or nonconsensual means:

  • RFID/radio-frequency identification
  • NFC/Near-field communication
  • Bluetooth wireless technology
  • WI-FI technology

ADMITTANCE
In its sole discretion, RSA Conference Organizer reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the virtual RSA Conference anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the RSA Conference or any other attendee.

It is the policy of RSA Conference to, where applicable, provide any technology and/or event related services in accordance with all applicable laws within the United States and in other jurisdictions where it conducts business. As such, RSA Conference may prohibit any attendee, company, or individual registering from a restricted country or territory from event registration. All decisions are in RSA Conference’s sole discretion and shall be considered final.

The views expressed by any RSA Conference attendee, speaker and community partner are not necessarily those of RSA Conference, RSA Conference Organizer or EMC Corporation.  All RSA Conference attendees, speakers, and community partners are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.


CODE OF CONDUCT
You are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct available at https://www.rsaconference.com/about/code-of-conduct#virtual. Event organizers will enforce this code and expect cooperation from all RSA Conference participants (e.g., attendees, speakers, media, sponsors, volunteers) to help us promote a safe and enjoyable RSA Conference experience for everyone.

FORCE MAJEURE
RSA Conference Organizer shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the Venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of RSA Conference Organizer or its subcontractors.  For one or more of such reasons, RSA Conference Organizer may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of RSA Conference Organizer.  In the event RSA Conference cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, RSA Conference Organizer shall not be liable to attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.

THESE TERMS
RSA Conference reserves the right to update and change any part or all of these Registration Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying you first. If we update or change these Registration Terms and Conditions, the updated Registration Terms and Conditions will be posted on our RSA Conference website. By registering you hereby consent to these Registration Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
