Mr. Gonen Fink is a cybersecurity executive with over 25 years of entrepreneurial and leadership experience in growing products and technology from inception to multi-billion-dollar companies. He is currently serving as an advisor and investor in several startups. In his last corporate role, Mr. Fink served currently as Senior Vice President, Products in Palo Alto Networks (PANW), where he led the creation and all product aspects of Cortex XDR - a product that defined and led the eXtended Detection and Response market (XDR), one of the top security markets for 2020. Mr. Fink joined Palo Alto Networks in February 2017 through Palo Alto Networks' acquisition of LightCyber, a behavioral analytics company, and created Cortex XDR through integration of LightCyber technology with technologies from other startups acquired by Palo Alto Networks. Mr. Fink joined LightCyber as the Chief Executive Officer in September 2013 and built the company from early pre-revenues stage to a global leader in the behavioral attack detection market with over 100 customers in the United States, Europe, APAC and Israel. During his tenure at LightCyber, Mr. Fink and LightCyber have received multiple awards including being selected as the Top 25 disrupters of 2016 and Top 10 RSA Innovation Sandbox Program in 2014. Prior to joining LightCyber, Mr. Fink was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pythagoras Solar, a building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) company which received multiple awards, including General Electric Ecomagination Challenge, for inventing the first solar window technology. Mr. Fink founded Pythagoras Solar in December 2006 and served as its Chief Executive Officer until 2013. Prior to founding Pythagoras Solar, Mr. Fink served for twelve years (from 1994 to 2006) at Check Point Software Technologies (CHKP) in various roles including serving as the company’s Chief Architect, Vice President of Products (R&D) and Vice President of Solutions & Strategy. As one of Check Point's first employees and its executive roles, Mr. Fink was instrumental in building Check Point from an early-stage start-up to a multi-billion-dollar global market leader in Internet Security. Prior to Check Point, Mr. Fink served for seven years in the Israeli Defense Force's elite intelligence unit as a Major and continued as a special consultant to the Ministry of Defense. During his career, Mr. Fink has been an advisor to multiple companies including serving as a Member of Advisory Board of ForeScout Technologies (FCST) and as a Member of the Board of Directors in SecureIslands (acquired by Microsoft). In 2014, Mr. Fink was named as one of the most influential Israelis in tech worldwide by Business Insider. Mr. Fink holds a B.Sc. summa cum laude in Physics and Computer Science and M.A. summa cum laude in Digital Philosophy from the Tel Aviv University, Israel.
