The Future of Cloud Identity Security - IAM-207

Michael Schwartz, Founder/CEO, Gluu

OpenID Connect 1.0 will standardise “Social Login” on the Internet. This talk will give a history of identity federation, an overview of OpenID Connect, and analyse the options to adopt the technology. It will also consider questions about challenges that remain for organisations to share identity data on the Internet, including the rise of personal data stores and vendor relationship management.

Mike has been an entrepreneur and identity specialist for over 15 years. His first company, Spacelab.Net, was a New York City based ISP, sold to Verion/NTT in 1998. Since then, Mike has worked on directory services, single signon and other identity projects for enterprises in many industries. He founded Gluu in 2009, a startup seeking to simplify how organizations securely share data with their partners using identity federation technology. He is a member of the OASIS XDI Technical Committee and is the founder of the OpenXDI project. Mike can be spotted at most identity business conferences and at IIW.
