In an effort to address the challenges presented by the growth of cyber attacks and threats against the United States, NGA created the Resource Center for State Cybersecurity (Resource Center) led by Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder. MacLellan directs the Resource Center, which was launched in October, 2012, and its associated initiatives aimed at improving cyber protections and preparedness for states.
