With over three decades of experience as a researcher and instructor, he is recognized with a number of technology "firsts.” He is currently professor for Computer Science at Purdue University and Executive Director of the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS); Editor-in-Chief of the Computers & Security; chair of ACM's US Public Policy Council; and member of EPIC’s Advisory Board. He is a fellow of the ACM, AAAS, IEEE, (ISC)2 and Distinguished Fellow of ISSA.
