Catherine Lotrionte

Professor, Georgetown University

Catherine Lotrionte is the Director of the CyberProject at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she teaches courses on international and national security law and cybersecurity law. From 2002-2006, she served as Counsel to the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board at the White House. She was Assistant General Counsel with the CIA, providing legal advice relating to information warfare, foreign intelligence and counterintelligence activities. She has a Ph.D. from Georgetown University, a J.D. from NYU. She has authored over 70 publications, including a forthcoming book, "Cyber Policy as An Instrument of International Relations." She recently moderated a panel entitled “The Applicability of International Law in Cyberspace – From If to How?”
