Professor, Georgetown UniversityDr. Catherine Lotrionte is the Director of the CyberProject in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she teaches and writes on international and national security law, international affairs and technology. In 2002 she was appointed by Brent Scowcroft as Counsel to the President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board at the White House. Prior positions include Legal Counsel for the Joint Inquiry Committee of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, investigating the 9/11 terrorist attacks and Assistant General Counsel at the CIA. She has recently joined the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Cybersecurity and the ICANN Accountability Process as an advisor on accountability and governance. She holds a Ph.D. from Georgetown University and a J.D. from NYU.
