Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President, Microsoft

As VP and CISO at Microsoft, Bret Arsenault is responsible for information security and risk management; setting the company’s security incidence response strategy. He leads a global team of security professionals focused on protecting the company’s assets through programs that span education and awareness, governance, identity and access management, enterprise business continuity management, and security assessments. He chairs Microsoft’s Information Risk Management Council, which brings together teams from across the company focused on protecting data, and hosts Microsoft’s Security Council - an enterprise customer forum that drives product direction and operational best practices. He holds advisory board roles in the public and private sectors and is a founding member of the Executive Security Action Forum and Security 50.
