Ari Schwartz

Senior Director for Cyber Programs , National Security Council/ The White House

Ari Schwartz currently serves as Senior Director for Cybersecurity for the National Security Council at the White House. Schwartz is responsible for formulation and coordination of cybersecurity programs, including protection of critical infrastructure, federal systems, and privacy for the White House and outreach to relevant stakeholders on cybersecurity and Internet policy. Previously, he served as a Senior Policy Advisor to Commerce Secretaries Gary Locke, John Bryson, Rebecca Blank and Penny Pritzker. Prior to his government service, he worked over 12 years at the Center for Democracy and Technology, including work as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
