After retiring from the Navy in 1996 as a Vice Admiral, Mike McConnell joined Booz Allen, and led the development of the firm’s IA & Intelligence business focused on policy, transformation, homeland security, and analytics.
Prior, he was the Director of National Intelligence for Presidents Bush and Obama. There he managed the Intelligence Community (100,000 people and budget over $47B) and had interactions with the White House, Congress, international & US business leaders. In 2009, he returned to Booz Allen as executive vice president leading the firm’s Intelligence business, and then elevated to Vice Chairman.
