Lucy Thomson is Chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Science & Technology Law, leading an organization that is considered the leading authority on science and technology law. Thomson is the founder and principal of Livingston PLLC, a Washington D.C. law firm focusing on law and technology, including information security and privacy. Previously at CSC, a global technology company, she addressed a broad range of legal, policy and technology issues. A former career federal prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice, she served in senior positions in the Criminal and Civil Rights Divisions. She earned an M.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and holds a J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
