Josiah Dykstra received a B.S. in computer science and a B.A. in music from Hope College in 2002. As part of the NSF Scholarship for Service fellowship, Dykstra earned an M.S. in Information Assurance from Iowa State University in 2004. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, conducting research on the topic of digital forensics for cloud computing. His research interests include network security, intrusion detection, malware analysis, digital forensics and cloud computing. He is a member of the ACM, IEEE Computer Society, American Academy of Forensic Sciences, Cloud Security Alliance, NIST Cloud Working Group, IFIP Working Group 11.9 on Digital Forensics and American Bar Association E-Discovery and Digital Evidence Committee.
