Unit Chief, Cyber Initiative Resource Fusion Unit, FBI
Unit Chief(UC) Eric Strom entered on duty with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on June 20, 1999. Strom is currently assigned as the Unit Chief in charge of the Cyber Initiative and Resource Fusion Unit(CIRFU), Cyber Criminal Section, Cyber Division. CIRFU is embedded at the National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance, a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation. His previous assignments included being assigned as a Supervisory Special Agent assigned to CIRFU and as a Special Agent assigned to a drug and organized crime squad with the Pittsburgh Division. Prior to entering the FBI, he practiced as a trial attorney, specializing in civil and criminal defense law.
