Chief Security Officer, State of MichiganDan Lohrmann is an internationally recognized security leader, technologist and author. Lohrmann currently serves as Michigan’s Chief Security Officer (CSO). During his 26-year career which began at the National Security Agency, he has served both public and private organizations which span the globe as a network engineer, IT Director, CTO, CISO and CIO. He is the author of the book Virtual Integrity: Faithfully Navigating the Brave New Web. He is also a globally recognized speaker on many IT topics, including best-practice government technology plans. He has received numerous professional awards including CSO of the Year, Public Official of the Year and Computerworld Top 100. He serves as an adviser for Information Assurance (IA) programs at four universities.
