Senior Director for Cybersecurity, White House
Dr. Andy Ozment is the White House Senior Director for Cybersecurity. Ozment’s team coordinates the government's efforts to secure itself, protect critical infrastructure, improve national incident response and share information with the private sector. In a previous White House position, he led the development of the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace. He has also worked in operational security for the Department of Homeland Security and at the NSA. He has held various technical positions at Georgia Tech, Nortel Networks, MIT Lincoln Laboratory and Merrill Lynch. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Security at the University of Cambridge, an M.S. in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a B.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
