Case Coordinator, Microsoft

Lee Rock is the case coordinator for Microsoft’s Network Security Advanced Analytics team under the Trustworthy Computing group. Rock oversees and coordinates Microsoft’s response to intrusions by Advanced Persistent Threat actors. He also served as the Acting Director of the United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) where he led US-CERT’s efforts to mitigate cyber threats through coordination across federal, state, local, private critical infrastructure and the international community. He was the technical lead on the operational implementation of the EINSTEIN network defense program and he championed efforts within DHS to build new and innovative information sharing programs.
