Director, IT Operations, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing ArtsAlbert Gore is the director of IT Operations at The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. Gore joined the Center in May of 2008 to enhance the organization’s security and prevent data loss. His recent projects focus on stopping malware inadvertently spread by employees, contractors, and performing artists using the Web. He is fondly referred to as “the go-to-guy for all things IT related,” by his peers.
Gore joined the John F. Kennedy Center from American Red Cross, where he was the Manager of System Administrations from May 2006 to May 2008. Prior to American Red Cross, he served as the Lead System Engineer of Unix Systems at GEICO from December of 1997 to May 2006.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in 1987 from Boğaziçi Üniversitesi in Istanbul, Turkey.
