Privacy Analyst, EMEA, Intel Corporation
Kathryn Whelan has worked for Intel’s Privacy Office in EMEA since 2005. Her role includes oversight and contribution to Intel’s global privacy program that serves the needs of customers, employees and product design. She led a European Commission approved project for the CEN/ISSS Data Protection and Privacy (DPP) Workshop and assists on the European Advisory Board for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Kathryn has a BA (Hons) in European Languages from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK. She holds the IAPP CIPP/US, CIPP/IT and CIPP/E as well as a Certificate in Information Security Management Principles from the ISEB (Information Systems Examination Board – UK).
