With the exhaustion of public IPv4 address, the Internet is transitioning to IPv6. The move has some security implications for application. The talk explains how the Internet changes with IPv6, then looks at the applications. What is the impact on logging and audit-trail? Could there be new attacks? Are there benefits? No more NAT in IPv6: does it make application more secure and more powerful?
