Bob Cheong is the CISO for Los Angeles World Airports and has 15 years of information security experience. Currently, he is responsible for information security at LAX International Airport, Ontario International Airport, and Van Nuys Airport. He specializes in Cyber Security Operation, Security Auditing, Business Continuity Planning, and Computer Forensics. During his current tenure, he has successfully implemented a state-of-the-art Cyber Security Operation Center, implemented an IT COOP Plan, performed computer forensics with multiple law enforcement agencies, and provides consultation on IT security strategies and best practices. Bob has recently won the CSO40 Award with his security initiative “Daily Cyber Intelligence Report – Insider Threats” by CSO magazine. He holds a BS degree in Computer Science from California State University and a CISSP and CISM certifications. He is a board member of Southern California CISO Executive Summit and Los Angeles INFRAGARD Chapter.
