Q: How do members of the press qualify for a press pass?
A: Reporters, editors and freelance journalists will need to provide proof of the organisation they represent and/ or provide a direct link to their latest written article or report, with name included, posted at an editorial or analyst website. The PR Team will not search a website for an article and publication home pages will not be accepted. A direct link is required.
Q: How do industry analysts qualify for a press pass?
A: Freelance writers and analysts from recognised publications and organisations must provide both a business card with an analyst house title and a sample of an industry-related report published in the past six months.
Q: Are financial analysts able to obtain a press pass?
A: Financial analysts, regardless of editorial assignments, will not be given editorial press passes.
Q. Are bloggers able to obtain a press pass?
A. Bloggers are subject to the same press registration process as all other media, and registration will be judged individually and based upon the credibility of the blog itself. Bloggers must have covered information security topics for a minimum of three months with a consistent posting rate (at least 2 posts a week). Additional information, such as Technorati ratings and number of hits/page views, will also be taken into consideration.
