Grant Programme
APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 18th SEPTEMBER!
RSA® Conference Europe is pleased to announce a special Registration Grant Programme for security practitioners who have lost their jobs due to the current economic environment. The programme, run in conjunction with Acumin Consulting Ltd., will award complimentary RSA Conference Europe 2009 delegate passes to five (5) previous attendees of the Conference, as well as five (5) delegate passes to people who have not attended RSA Conference Europe before but who are interested in continuing their information security education.
In addition to the Registration Grant, Acumin Consulting will provide career counseling services on-site at RSA Conference Europe 2009 for the ten (10) Registration Grant recipients.
Criteria to receive a Registration Grant
- Must be an information security professional (practitioner, security architect or similar role);
- Must complete a 1,000 character explanation on “Why I need to attend RSA Conference Europe 2009”
- Must complete a 750 character biography to verify their role as security practitioners
- Must be willing to participate in on-site promotional activities such as video blogging or a podcast interview.
Submissions will be accepted until Friday 18th September at midnight GMT and grant recipients will be notified by email on Tuesday 22nd September.
How to Apply for a Registration Grant
Interested candidates can submit applications online at http://www.rsaconference.com/2009/europe/index.htm, between Monday 31st August and Friday 18th September. Ten (10) qualified entrants will be selected and notified on Tuesday 22nd September that they have received a free Delegate pass.
RSA Conference Europe and Acumin will select successful applicants based on the criteria outlined above in its sole discretion. The free Delegate pass given as part of the RSA Conference Europe Registration Grant Programme only covers the delegate registration fee for RSA Conference Europe 2009 in London from 20th -22nd October, 2009 and does not cover hotel, travel, parking or any other incidental expenses.
