RSA Conference Awards Official Nomination Rules
- You can nominate more than one person per category, but multiple submissions for the same person will not increase their chances of winning an award.
- A committee is created for each award category and will comprise of members of the industry, academic community and public sector. Each committee will review the nominations submitted and select a winner.
- All submitted material will remain confidential.
- Descriptions of submissions may be published in connection with the awards. Entrants may mark sensitive parts of their entry clearly as 'not for publication'.
- Entries may be withdrawn at any time up to the closing date upon written request.
- The committees reserve the right to amend category selection where appropriate.
- The committees will decide if there is any conflict of interest in a committee member voting or finding in favor of a specific entry. In the event that there is, that member will not be permitted to influence any decisions regarding that entry.
- The committees’ decision is final in all cases.
- Finalists will be notified approximately four-to-six weeks in advance of the presentation of the awards.
- The identity of winners will not be disclosed prior to the official announcement during the keynote session at RSA Conference 2008 in San Francisco, California, on Monday, April 11, 2008.
- Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Your entry will be acknowledged by email upon submission.
- Entries must arrive by the agreed entry deadline.
- There is no charge to enter the awards.
